SPCA are running most of its activities with
the support and help of volunteers. We are constantly in look out for people
or students who are keen to volunteer themselves in this organization. Find

SPCA : Eunice, tell us about yourself?
EUNICE : My name is Eunice Chuah Ming Hui. I'm a Std.6 student studying at
Convent Greenlane Primary School. There are 4 people in my family.
In addition to my family, I have a Gold Fish and 3yrs old Miniature Pinscher
dog. His name is Bruno.
SPCA : Why do you choose to serve SPCA as a volunteer?
EUNICE : I love animals. Besides that, I have learnt alot from the SPCA. It
is fun to watch the animals play.
SPCA : What do you love most when volunteering at the SPCA?
EUNICE : I love playing with the animals and also showing visitors around
SPCA kennels and cattery. Sometimes, I spend time in the kennel and play
with the animals. I also help around in the office.
SPCA : You have spent some time at the SPCA, tell us what you have learnt?
EUNICE : I've learnt how to bathe dogs and cats, clean their ears and help
the vet. I also learn that all animals have different characters.
SPCA : What would you like to say to the general public?
EUNICE : I hope more people would not dump their dogs and cats. It is my
hope that pet owners would spay and neuter their pets so that there will not
be
unwanted animals ending up on roadside, markets and at the SPCA shelter.
