HOW CAN YOU HELP SPCA?

1. BE A MEMBER OF THE SPCA - be a life member, ordinary member, corporate or a junior member.

2. BE A VOLUNTEER AT THE SPCA - there are lots of things to do from bathing to socializing with the animals at the pound. Washing and painting of SPCA premises and kennels etc.

3. HELP IN OUR FUND RAISING ACTIVITIES - organize projects such as walkathon, dogathon, treasure hunt, fashion show, food fairs, cinema shows, dinner & dance etc.

4. HELP IN OTHER (CONTINUOUS) FUND RAISING CAMPAIGN - collect recycle able items such newspaper, aluminum cans, cardboards, plastics containers etc and donate to these items to spca to raise fund.

5. PURCHASE AND PROMOTE SPCA MERCHANDISE - purchase spca merchandise as gifts/souvenirs and promote them to family/friends.

6. DONATE REGULARLY IN CASH OR KIND -such as pet food, unpolished rice, pet collars, shampoos, pet toys etc. You can donate regularly; any amount large and small is greatly appreciated. Our monthly operating budget is over RM$10,000.

7. PROMOTE THE WORK OF SPCA - by creating public awareness, spread the word around on the work of SPCA. Promote kindness to animals and stop animal abuse and neglect.

8. ADOPT A FRIEND OF THE SPCA - give our animals at the pound a good loving home. Discourage your friends to buy a pet from pet shops.

9. REPORT ON ANY ANIMAL ABUSE - but remember you must be prepared to make an official report to the police or enforcement unit of any case of cruelty, abuse or neglect if necessary. Anonymous complaints will not be entertained.

10. FOSTERING PROGRAM - help to foster young puppies/kitten for a period of time till they can be vaccinated and place for adoption.

11. LEAVE A LEGACY TO THE SPCA - this will help us a long way to keep our activities going.
